Our mission is to provide, within a safe environment, quality instructional programs, which promote academic and technical excellence, encourage cooperative effort, nurture self-worth, and enable students to be life-long learners and responsible citizens.

Children have the right to be educated for citizenship, higher education, and the work force in a clean, safe, respectful environment.

Supported by school decision making and policy, the curriculum should, in addition to factual knowledge, give opportunities to develop responsibility, respect, good work habits, inter-personal skills and a positive attitude toward life-long learning.

A variety of learning modalities will help all children succeed.

Assessment benchmarks will improve when students are challenged by qualified, caring teachers to set high goals for themselves.

The ideal school is a warm, welcoming, attractive and safe place.  Highly qualified, supportive teachers and administrators oversee education that emphasizes long-term learning goals, integrates new research and technology, and makes available a wide variety of core and elective courses to meet the varying needs and goals of all students.

Successful students set ever higher goals for self-improvement and leave high school with tolerance and respect for themselves and others, good work habits, and a solid academic grounding for future learning.

In the ideal school, parents and community members have a great role in students' improvement and success.  Administrators, teachers, parents, and community members communicate clearly and often.  They treat each other and the students fairly and respectfully.  They make sure that academic, financial, cultural, and social resources are available for the good of all students.
